Dr. Richard Eric Huettemann, MD

My kids have seen him for a little while now and he always gives me an icky feeling because he's always making inappropriate joke to my kids about them having a boyfriend or girlfriend. Like them having multiple girlfriends or if they gotten sick because they were kissing their boyfriend.. my kids are in elementary school and this seems wildly inappropriate to me.. so we stopped seeing him and I wouldn't not recommend..

If youre a parent that has any questions or concerns about vaccines or asking to possible have a more spread out vaccines scheduled. I do not recommend seeing Dr Huetteman. I was barely able to get a word out without him becoming agitated. I first said id like to opt out of vaccines today and he said well then you cant come here anymore. He then asked if I wasnt going to vaccinate him at all.. I said I dont know I just have concerns and that I dont think vaccines are bad at all but I have concerns about the vaccines schedule ..I was then going to ask for more information and if we could do a customized schedule and just spread the vaccines out more but I didnt get to because he cut me off.. Then went on a rant about and I quote "The id*ot in the white house spreading fear." And that babies are dying because of it.. to make matters worse I also had my 8 year old daughter with me listening to this rant and she left the office crying because he insinuated that if I didnt get her baby… brother vaccinated I was going to k*ll him.. after he just accused someone of fear mongering he basically did the same to me and my child and gave us no real medical advice and then said " if youre not going to vaccinate him then get out of here and literally pointed at the door.. My point is im obviously no medical professional. Im just a mom who is confused and was seeking medical advice from my childrens pediatrician. Which should be ok! Politics should not be in the conversation when Im discussing the future medical care of my children.. Its normal for parents to have concerns when some doctors are saying everything's fine with the schedule and then you have some pediatricians suing the CDC for lack of proper research with the vaccine schedule they are giving to our babies. Which is why I wanted to talk to Dr. Huetteman who has been my Kids doctor for 8 years.. It was hurtful how I was treated and its ok for doctor to have a different view but as a medical professional I should have been educated not belittled and thrown out like that. So, im sharing my experience in hopes to save the next parent with vaccine questions or concerns the trouble and embarrassment.

Our usual pediatrician was gone for the day so I took my son to see Dr. Richard Huetteman. He was fast, knowledgeable and we left with needed prescription.... but he asked my 9 year old son if his ear infection came from his girlfriend slobbering in his ear. EXTREMELY INAPPROPRIATE. He’s 9, not 19.

i could not ask for a better doctor for my daughter. i wish all doctors were like dr. huettemann.
