Summary
Dr. Huie completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Alabama and earned his medical degree from the University of Alabama, School of Medicine. He completed his pediatric residency at Children's Hospital and has been in private practice since 1977. He joined Mayfair Medical Group in 1984. Dr. Huie is board certified in pediatrics and has been a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics since 1980. In 2003, Dr. Huie received the Master Pediatrician Award-UAB Department of Pediatrics. He is married and has three grown children and one grandchild. He and his wife Rebecca are active members of St. Paul's Catholic Cathedral in downtown Birmingham.
