Dr. Friedman was professional, high-energy and personable. Procedure was quick, painless and incident-free. Terrific outcome. Highly recommend Dr. Friedman.

I agree with some of the reviews about his bed side manners however he failed in his care of my condition. Had a colonoscopy and he was not able to complete due to an obstruction. So I had a virtual colonoscopy. I had several conditions that was causing me significant discomfort. He called me on a Sunday afternoon to tell me what my test indicated. Literally, a 6-7minute conversation with NO recommendations. I am now going to another doctor. I have picked up my radiology report and CD of the virtual colonoscopy (from Emory St. Joseph) for new doctor to read and hopefully help me. Don’t let his friendly manners fool you.

I highly recommend Dr. Friedman ! The BEST bedside manner from any Dr in the Atlanta area. He REALLY cares about you as a patient , as is evident by his determination to solve your health issue!

Scheduling the appointment was easy. Wait time was fair. 10-15 Minutes. Dr. Friedman listens to you and answers your queries. He however didn't do his job. Wanted to speak to my PCP before prescribing me anything. I didn't get any call from him yet. It's been more than a month. I also asked my PCP he got contacted by Dr. Friedman. PCP said No. Also the claim my Insurance company received from him was of $500. $500 for doing nothing! I think Dr. Friedman is not trustworthy. Please avoid seeing Dr. Friedman.

Circumstances have proven: I never should have trusted Dr. Richard Friedman. He repeatedly has failed to be truthful. One of the biggest problems Dr. Friedman caused me was the way he mishandled my colonoscopy. I needed to ask a different doctor to redo the colonoscopy before I was able to receive the kind of healthcare I needed. (For that reason, I am basing the "accurate diagnosis" score entirely on the colonoscopy -- not everything Dr. Friedman did for me.) I trusted Dr. Friedman. He betrayed my trust and turned out to be a major disappointment.

Dr. Friedman has a wonderful bedside manner. He is willing to listen and will take the time to explain and answer any questions you may have. You do not feel like you are on an assembly line in his care.

Dr Friedman REALLY LISTENS. He asks excellent questions and makes you feel comfortable while he efficiently does his job. He doesn't make you feel silly for asking a lot of questions and considers the patient's input to be valuable to help with diagnosis. He is not quick to prescribe drugs if diet change can be tried first. You can tell he is passionate about taking care of his patients and he has a heart. You'll be amazed at his memory of every detail you have told him, when he makes his dictation report at the end of the visit. He has a better memory of what I said than I do. You'll receive top notch, premium quality, "expert" care in his hands.

I saw this Dr after being advised to have a colonoscopy due to family history of colon cancer. He did a fantastic job and as we know, done in the wrong hands can be a disaster. I now live in Florida and it is time again to to repeat this procedure. I will make the trip back to Atlanta to have him do the repeat. I trust only him.

I have been going to Dr. Friedman for many years. He has always been kind, generous with his time, careful to make sure I understand, and concerned about costs. There aren't many better physicians. Unfortunately, the staff isn't always as good as the doctor.
