Dr. Richard Dean Jantz, MD

Dr.Jantz stays ahead of the Cardiology curve and provides excellent service and /or testing for heart health. Can't do without him!

I have seeing Dr. Jantz for years. I can not begin to tell you how scary a heart problem is, but how comforting it is how Dr Jantz tackles each item confidently, using different techniques to obtain additional information. When I'm having a scary episode, he can calm it just by his touch and calm voice. He never uses a "cookie-cutter" diagnosis for each patient. We are all individuals, and so are his investigations, to each of your problem. And then he will treat each problem individually. I was born with a heart beating and fireing, and physical malfunction of the heart causing the failure of the value and my breathing problem. Now it has progressed to an aeortic value malfunction, because the mitrovalue is wearing out. Dr Jantz has taken the mitrovalve slipping, trying to control it, to know control and strengthen the aerotic valve from failing. The Rx regiment for each difficulty has helped and slowed the dilemma. And the camera into my heart and lungs once in a while,… has helped to give Dr Jantz an up close view of the quandary, and over the 20 years how it has progressed, but slowly now . I love having the machine on for a month here-and-there to also give a better picture of when my breathing and valves "whack out" as I call them and make it difficult to breath. It records the heart and valves so he sees a better picture also. I take my Rx, and exercise the heart (which I fail my treadmills), and know that I may have tohave a transplant to continue. But Im not afraid. The new procedures can allow Dr Jantz to go in through my sides and do the 2 valves microscopically...less evasive and less recovery time, and I have no husband to care for me, so Dr. Jantz always thinks about the future and how I will be cared for . he always thinks about each patient and each situation and resolve and up to the date procedures and new Rx.

Dr Jantz is an amazing heart doctor. He is so easy to talk to and takes time with you and is not in a hurry to get you out of there. He makes you feel like he cares about you and how you are feeling. He always goes over everything with you and answers all your questions. His office staff are the best, always friendly and helpful.

Sky Ridge Medical center and Dr. Jantz are the best! Normally I am very uncomfortable going to either a hospital or a doctor, but this is not the case with both Sky Ridge and Dr. Jantz. To date Dr. Jantz is the best Cardiologist I have ever had, he is very easy to talk to and answers all my questions. Bottom line, I trust him and his staff.
