Dr. Richard Arthur Kopher, MD

I saw Dr Kopher because I have had a diagnosis of poly cystic ovary syndrome for several years and have never found a doctor who seemed knowledgable about treatment options beyond run of the mill birth control pills. Dr Kopher has expertise in reproductive endocrinology which is why I chose him. He is the first doctor to approach my PCOS with doing a blood workup to see what's really going on (which should have been done a long time ago) and also the first to explain to me the long term serious health risks of this condition if left unchecked. Other doctors have always looked at it as a nuisance syndrome, not a real health problem. I would definitely recommend him for any woman experiencing difficulty finding good treatment in a regular OBGYN or family practice doctor. He does not talk down to you, gives you all the information you need, and clearly explains all treatment options.
