Dr. Richard Douglas Lippmann, MD

Dr. Lippmann is an exceptionally skilled, patient, and caring pediatrician. There are not enough words to express how wonderful he is. Dedicates 200% of his time to care for my children at every visit. Appts are never an issue, front staff and MA’s are extremely helpful and caring. We are very lucky to have him.

The entire staff at L.I. peds is fantastic ! Sure you sometimes have to wait, but don’t you wait at all docs ? At least when i see the docs, I get great quality care by a principal ! Too often in these big doc in a box locations, the providers are just going through the motions, just drawing a paycheck with no interest in the total quality of the practice. At LI Peds I deal with one of two docs, not a rotating array of guys or gals on there way to somewhere else. Been seeing Doc L since my oldest was 8, she’s 25. He takes great care of my family and the staff is extremely accommodating. Josephine runs a tight ship, but with an emphasis on the patients experience and satisfaction ! Best docs ever at LI Peds !

Hi, this is Chris from Dr. Lippmann's office if we offended anyone please accept our apologies. It was a busy morning, however, Josephine and I work closely together and there is a mutual respect for one another. But thank you for your concern and we will use this to improve.

Unfortunately the practice has changed, and not for the better. The wait times are extremely long, paperwork should be given prior to appointment (because who can fill out paperwork while waiting with your 3 children)? There’s lots of new staff. I witnessed Josephine speaking disrespectfully to Kris (who is the sweetest woman there, and so helpful)!

Best pediatrician . My friend recommended him , and I could never ask for a better doctor. He never makes you feel uncomfortable asking questions , no matter how silly they sound. He has a great personality, kids love him, he has kids of his own and understands how it is to be a parent. He is always up to date with news regarding kids health, treatments. He never minded me questioning vaccines , medication , and always took the time to listen. He does get busy at times but not more than others and has a few rooms so people can wait in private so no 20 sick kids are in a room at once. I totally love him. Never had a wrong diagnostic with my kids and the part I also love about him is that he doesn't rush with Antibiotics like other pediatricians I know, unless he really thinks is needed

Been going to Dr Lippmann's office for 8 yrs now, with 2 kids. His personal involvement with the kids is exceptional. All of my nieces and nephews(6) are also patients now.

The entire practice is great. Dr Lippmann is patient and reassuring to my husband and I .

We are so happy with Dr. Lippmann. My kids actually look forward to going to see him. We have complete trust in his care. Recently we have had a few medical issues and he held our hands through testing as well as treatment. He always checked in to see how we were doing and made sure we really knew what was happening and what to expect . Dr. Lippmann is smart, accommodating, understanding and genuinely meant to be in his field. He truly has a gift for relating to the patients as well as their families.

Dr. Lippmanns practice may have grown, but my children see Dr. Lippmann at every appointment. Since my youngest daughter is born, I prescheduled all my appointments. I keep them and I am on time. I will say, I dont like when I get phone calls to change my scheduled appointment. But I do try to help Christine or Josephine. I have had the pleasure of seeing the new doctor,my children like him and he was spot on with his diagnosing. Its not hard seeing Dr. Lippmann at all.

I loved Dr. Lippmann and his staff! The office has gone above and beyond for my children and I. Even when we moved and had to get a new pediatrician, I was still able to call and ask their opinion. I trust Dr. Lippmann with my childrens lives. I will greatly miss him and the staff! I know my children will miss them too. They always had time to see your child, answered all questions or concerns either in the office or over the phone. They are very cute with the children. I would recommend him to everyone~!
