The real story behind the one-star "uncaring" review - the provider noted that a patient had not been seen for his hypertension follow-up for over a year, and had clearly run out of medication. He placed a call to his home, and reached the patient's wife, who stated that the patient had changed jobs, had much less stress and "did not need" care for hypertension any more. The provider reiterated the need for continued care, as hypertension may not have any symptoms yet still pose a significant risk. The patient's wife indicated she would forward the message. Over the next six months, four additional calls were made with the same message and no response. Finally, the letter of termination was sent with the hope that the patient might decide to take his condition more seriously.

I have been seeing Dr. Lorraine for 3 years, and he is definitely the best doc I've ever had. He is very knowledgeable, and only makes recommendations for tests or treatments that there is evidence for improving health - and explains this to me! He not only is in this office, but he is also the Medical Director of the Health Department AND still serves as a military reservist! I sometimes will see one of his associates because of his busy schedule, and they are wonderful too! This is the best primary care office in the area.

After losing my job, I put off doctor appointments could not afford them, also my wife became ill , with nearly a year long illness. We went through a year of agony, and out of the blue I get a letter from Dr. Lorraine that he was dropping me as a patient for not coming into the office. We'll, I could not afford it after losing salary and had to focus on my wife. I considered him a friend and was really shocked when I got such an impersonal letter, throwing me away. Did he care what happened to me , nope.

Most comprehensive and up-to-date care I have ever received. Excellent bedside manner. Also admire him for currently serving as a military reserve medical officer.

Incredibly knowledgable and thorough. Great bedside manner, makes me feel better just by taking to him. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Dr. Lorraine is extremely knowledgable, and is very thorough. He was able to make a quick diagnosis of a very unusual condition in my son, and helped us get the proper specialty care. The office staff is amazingly friendly, and the other doctors are excellent as well.
