Dr. Richard M Bochner, MD

I had hip surgery 5 years ago. This doctor left me with my operated leg longer then my other leg. It wasn't until I had my other hip done, by a different surgeon that it was straightened out. Nice guy but I was very upset.

He may be an excellent surgeon but I needed only treatment for arthritis. He seemed bored and disinterested at every visit. Finally, he failed to realize that my problem was not primarily arthritis but a muscle contracture. He did not examine my leg, assuming that my pain was still due to arthritis, and said that I would have to wait 2 1/2 months to be treated again otherwise Medicare wouldn't pay. I suffered terrific pain all that time, and when I WAS finally treated it didn't help. If he finds his work so boring, he should retire early.

I have been seeing Dr. Bochner for 4 years for various orthopedic problems. He has treated my children and my husband as well. The office staff is delightful and the wait has never been more than 35 minutes for a scheduled appointment. One of the other comments talked about birth control. The man is an orthopedist! She has the wrong doctor!And he always tells me what the problem is and answers all my questions. Definitely the guy to see.

I was referred to Dr. Bochner by my orthopedic doctor's offfice because my Dr. was on vacation and I was in acute pain. I called the office at about 2:30 on Friday afternoon, which happened to be Dr. Bochner's surgery day; his assistant, Donna, was very compassionate; she told me that he was expected shortly and she would ask if he would be willing to see me that afternoon when he returned; he happened to return to the office while we were still on the phone; he agreed to have me come right over and she took the time to give me very detailed directions to the office. When I arrived, I completed the paperwork, and was immediately put into the examination room and within two minutes, Dr. Bochner came in and very patiently listened to my history, reviewed my MRI report (rotator cuff tear), examined my shoulder and arm, then he administered a cortisone shot and I was on my way. Thanks to Dr. Bochner, I was able to get some relief over the weekend. I felt blessed to have been referred to… Dr. Bochner AND TO ACTUALLY HAVE HIM SEE ME ON SUCH SHORT NOTICE AT THE END OF THE DAY ON A FRIDAY.... BECAUSE HE IS COMPASSIONATE AND CARING. The office is very clean and neat, and Dr. Bochner is very professional and compassionate. I would recommend Dr. Bochner in a heartbeat.

Dr. Bochner is caring, smart and professional. He cared for my time and his surgery on my knee changed my life for the better.
