Dr. McNeal man-handled my perfectly healthy and tiny (5.75 lbs) preemie during his first visit at 4 weeks old. Gave my son a HepB vax. At 8 week visit, he gave my preemie (6) vaccinations (one oral-OPV) at one time! My son’s two legs swelled up huge, he screamed inconsolably until exhaustion and this went on for over two weeks solid. I Called doc after first day after vax and he said it was “normal.” Called him again after 3 days and told the same thing. And again after one week, told me it was all normal. My baby’s digestive system shut down for 14 days no BM. Solely breast fed. Again, called doc and he said that was normal. My son quit smiling, was lethargic, and no longer cooed or did eye contact. 3 years later, autism and PDD diagnosis. This doctor injured my son with too many vaccines.
I have had Dr. McNeal as our children's pediatrician for several years and he is the best pediatrician for our two boys. He is a friendly gentle doctor and has a goodnature respectful personality He's a serious doctor and gets right down to business. I appreciate his honesty and direct approach to taking care of the kids. Additionally he has called me back directly if I had any concerns. I hightly recommend.
He is a bit on the serious side but is the best pediatric doctor I've experienced. I have 3 kids and experienced at least 5 different pediatric doctors. He always, follows up and promptly returns phone calls to answer my concerns. He is a knowledgeable doc and genuinely cares about the well being of his patients. We moved away and I have yet to find a doc as good as Dr. McNeal.
