Dr pokorny is an amazing doctor. He saved my life and I can’t thank him enough. He takes the time with his patients and explains. I highly highly recommend . He’s the best

Dr Pokorny must have been too too busy to explain to me that the procedure that he had planned on performing had changed! Wow- I was surprised! Instead of a small side incision I had 5 abdominal incisions! He FAILED to inform me of the change. I would NEVER recommend him!

Dr. Pokorny’s excellent skill and ability truly make him one of if not the absolute best surgeon in Louisville. He undoubtedly saved my life.

Doctor Pokorny was consulted to evaluate potential surgery to repair an incisional hernia. He was quick to tell me that he would not perform surgery on me even in an emergency. He never ventured closer than 10 feet from me and never physically performed any hands on examination. I have an obesity issue that apparently he has a personal that borders on an obsession. He three times repeated that he had pledged to "do no harm". I have NEVER had such a bad experience with an physician in my 70 plus years on earth. I coiuld NEVER recommend Doctor Pokorny even to my wordt enemy. VERY DISAPPOINTED as he supposedly is a skilled surgeon, Oh well...

He is a very caring Doctor who did a great job for me. I had a very complicated surgery and he did his magic to keep me off a colonoscopy bag. I am fully recovered and I sent my own brother to him for his operation.

i have had 4 surgeries with him with not 1 complication. This man is a genious. I highly recomend him.
