Dr. Richard Eldon Presley, MD

Dr. Presley delivered me breach on this day, 6:27pm in 1976 at Nashville, TN General Hospital. He saved my life and my mothers. Thank you Dr. Presley!

Dr. Presley delivered my twin girls. 19 years later he delivered one of my daughters with twin boys. Then 12 years after that,2017, the other daughter with a son. Then BAM! in 2018, first daughter with a daughter and 2019 second daughter with another son.For those keeping up, that's 7 he has delivered in our family, not to mention our other medical needs. He isn't just a doctor, he's PART OF THE FAMILY!

Dr. Presley is the only OBGYN that I have ever trusted and felt comfortable around. I have HPV and always felt like I was being judged or talked down to whenever I went to see a Dr. regarding it and for years I pretended nothing was wrong and hopped around or just plain avoided going to a Dr. out of fear and mistrust. Dr. Presley has always been nothing but kind, down to earth, honest, and caring. I ended up needing surgery due to the advancement of my condition and despite that being the only time I have ever gone in for surgery, I was only a tiny bit nervous because I knew he was as skilled as he was kind. I am so glad I was referred to him.

As a 27 year old mother, expecting my second child in 1982, I began a search to find a good doctor only to find the best of the best in Dr. Richard Presley. During the past 37 years, he delivered my second, third and fourth child, cared for my daughters, delivered their daughters, walked me through a breast biopsy, my annual exams and more. His care makes it as easy as possible to do the hard things that a woman deals with throughout her lifetime. This is my second review to write (ever) and I do so because I feel so very grateful to have been under the care of Dr. Presley who I know to be genuine, extremely compassionate and a brilliant medical professional who has provided the very best medical care along with emotional support for me, my daughters. I am honored to be among his many patients because he takes the very best care of his girls (patients) as if they were his own family. Thanks Dr. Presley! I appreciate you so very much.

He is the nicest doctor I’ve ever had and I wish he was my GP so I could see him more than once a year!!

My daughter was born in 1983, prior to that I lost 2 babies, Dr. Presley was beside me the entire time explaining the process and praying with me and wiping my tears away. Till this day I think of him often, he is one of the best Dr.s I have ever had. His words and our faith is what got me through that terrible time in my life. I highly recommend him. God bless.

Dr. Presley was my attending doctor at my birth in 1994. As a result of Dr. Presley being absent in the initial stages of labor, he failed to realize that I was too big to be born vaginally. During birth, I was stuck in the vaginal canal and due to excessive for of forceps and clamps, I was left severely injured with a brachial plexus injury. Dr. Presley assured my parents I would experience no pain. I’ve hard years and years of physical therapy, two surgeries, and I’m still left with chronic pain, emotional distress, limited mobility, and troubles with my overall wellbeing. I am currently having to look for new jobs as I am unable to perform my work duties without my arm literally giving out and being unusable.

He is the kindest Dr. with such good bed side manner. He's delivered 3 of my children and hoping he'll get the chance to deliver another =) he amazes me every delivery, and the fact that he'll pray with you is just a cherry on top! HIGHLY recommend him!
