Dr. Rixt Anna C Luikenaar, MD

I have to honestly say I am very disappointed with the service I received from the staff and Dr. It started out really well, I have been in contact with Florence who sent over the paperwork I needed to fill out which I sent back on a timely fashion. There is a $100 fee for no-shows or cancellation. I had an appointment for 9:15am online to meet with the Dr. and as a new patient, I was looking forward to this appointment. I called the office at 9:25am to follow up since I haven't heard anything from the Dr. via telehealth. At 9:40am I am checking in with the medical assistant who then asks many questions of which most of them are the same questions on the paperwork they request you submit prior to the appointment, which I don't mind answering. What upset me was, it was now almost 50 minutes from my original appointed time and I haven't heard from anyone on what the status was or given any notification as to why it was so late. I messaged the Dr which she casually replied she had… patients in clinic and she'll be with me shortly. At 10:16am (One hour past my original appointment) she is online, but now states she cannot see nor hear me. I have never had issues with my up-to-date computer and network connectivity, EVER, and I work from home so, I know she is being dishonest saying she cannot hear or see me, when I can in fact see her and hear her. The Dr has her medical assistant invite me to set up another time to come in person to see her. I offered to use ZOOM or RE-TRY to connect telehealth but she declined. I don't understand why I was treated so unprofessionally and as a new patient, cannot refer them to anyone. Poor customer service, failure to show up on time, failure to responsibility and accountability.

Dr. Luikenaar is a fantastic OB! I absolutely love her. She is very observant and driven to meet the needs of her patients. I have never had a long wait to see her and I recommend her to anyone.

I have seen this doctor on numerous visits over the years and she is a concerned and compassionate person who really cares for the patient's best care and opinion. She is open minded to patient ideas and supports them if it serves effective for there best healing overall. she is very SINCERE , competent, and thorough !!! I can't say the same for her staff...they are not very organized and this is one of the reason I am having to find another Doctor. Some of her staff is not always focused and this has caused many issues as there is not good followup on labs and insurance forms processed in a timely manner which results in chaos and such.It even effects surgery schedules. The waiting time is not too bad but some of the office staff is really lacking in quality teamwork and following up in a timely manner.

Probably the best OB/GYN in Salt Lake county.

Dr Luikenarr and her staff are awesome. They all go out of their way to make sure that you are taken care of and that your problems or issues are solved or you at least have answers. I recommened her to anyone.
