Dr. Robert Alan Hyman, MD

I use to be treated in the past with Dr. Hyman and his office staff wasn't very nice and it seems Dr. Hyman seemed so stressed keeping up with the charts, looking for lab, x-rays and information. It just seemed too much to handle and the staff wasn't much help. I took a break and went to see another MD for awhile and then he abruptly retired. I went back to see Dr. Hyman and go an appointment immediately. His office has cleaned up their act. They are more receptive, very helpful, and Dr. Hyman has a scribe that helps him with the notes and prints the scripts for him making things much easier. They got me in to get an MRI for my chronic back pain and got me in with a spine surgeon who later did a laminectomy. I'm doing much better and have lowered my pain medication. He sits with me and is very caring to make sure all my questions were answered. Thanks doc, I would highly recommend.

The junkies seem to love him that's why he has so many good reviews. Hes very moody, he doesnt like kids, animals, and most people. He's only in it for the money. It even seems like he takes his own medications. Most pharmacies dont accept him. The DEA is always raiding and investigating him. Hes usually obnoxious and rude, on a good day he talks too much and gets too into my personal life, including my sex life. Its common to wait there for hours. NO I dont recommend him!

Compassion and understanding

Very caring Dr......he really do care about ur needs and takes the time to talk with u and gives u solutions.....he has really eased my mind and helped with my anxiety

The doctor takes time to talk to you and helps you , he is a good doctor and understands his patient needs.

Dr Hyman is a good dr and knows his patients well.

He is the only Dr. in the 7 years I have been seeking psychiatric treatment to get me on the right combo of meds and he has helped me manage my pain condition finally as well. He helped me improve my quality of life immaculately and I am so glad I found him. He's extremely easy to talk to as well and the ladies in the office are all pleasant and helpful.

The doctor was rude, brushing he off when I wanted to ask him a question. His staff was no better, treating me like an idiot when they're the ones who made a mistake on my prescription. A mistake they refused to fix no less.
