Dr. Robert Austin Wagner, MD

I am a 100% DAV, retired 23 yrs US Army Officer. I had an appointment with Mr Wagner that lasted approximately 20 minutes. My husband and I walked out after he insulted me & dismissed me when I tried to explain that I had lost my Neurologist of 22 yrs, his diagnosis (along with the diagnosis of other physicians including Immunologists, Neurosurgeons, other Neurologists) and the treatments I had been given. He wanted to start from scratch and dismissed all other physicians. Ultimately he told me “he stays in his Lane”, whatever that was supposed to mean. He was not willing to listen and as far as I am concerned he broke the first tenant of the Hippocratic Oath: Do No Harm! We drove 1.5 hours to this appointment, a 3 hour round trip for what: to be insulted and dismissed as if I, as a patient, was irrelevant. Don’t waste your time with him, perhaps he should find another line of work, research where he doesn’t necessarily have to deal with patients.

Dr. Wagner is amazing. He is so consistent with his patients. Really makes time for them. He continues to help me and I love how he keeps in contact with my other doctors. He tries to fit me in as early as he can. I really appreciate him and I've been through many doctors. His staff is amazing too! always kind and considerate and get back to me as soon as possible

Dr. Wagner is listens to everything I need to say, asks me exactly how i am feeling and makes sure I am part of the decision process in for my own health. It is clear he cares.

Wonderful, Caring,he and his staff go way beyond any drs office I have ever been to ....always willing to help.

This Dr. Does not have a ego! He is a great Dr. And really cares! I miss my office visit and he made sure the next day I was able to get another. When I called the office I was even able to talk to him not his staff. He is a wonderful Dr. Did not rush and was very caring! Called my other Dr. To get my meds called in. Couldn't ask for a more thoughtful dr.

Dr wagner would not let me leave untill he was sure I would get my prescriptions and even informed my husband of the issues! Dr Wagner is the best brain doc around!!!!!!!!

He rushes in and rushes out so fast you really cannot even have time to ask questions. He also doesnt see a need to refer a pediatric patient with asthma to a board certified and on counsel for pediatric asthma. Wagoner also felt it was unneccesary to give controller medication to prevent attacks or did not know that he should give them. He also is really quick to give medication that may or may not be needed.
