Dr. Robert Cathie Milligan, MD

Dr. Milligan was the most kind, personable, professional doctor I could have asked for. I had a rather complicated pregnancy which resulted in a lengthy hospital stay. Despite the difficult circumstances surrounding my pregnancy Dr. Milligan always made me feel secure and well taken care of. I never once doubted his sincerity when it came to his genuine concern for my well being. I honestly can not say enough good things about him. I highly recommend him!

I came to Dr. Milligan for my second pregnancy after my first ended in a traumatic emergency C-section due to a failed induction that my last doctor forced on me for no medical reason. I desired a VBAC for this pregnancy and he was incredibly supportive and championed that decision. Baby was even breech for a bit towards the end and he suggested that he would be willing to deliver a breech baby if I so desired, of course outlining the risks, but leaving the choice up to me. Baby ended up turning head down, but I was past my due date with no signs of labor in sight. I did not want to be induced again because of my previous traumatic induction experience and he had no issue with that as long as baby and I were healthy, which we were. I ended up electing to be induced at 42 weeks exactly. We set up a very slow and gentle induction plan that I was completely a part of and I felt good about, and went on to have a wonderful successful induction and VBAC thanks to his thoughtful care, and the… care of his partners and nurses on staff. Dr. Milligan is the most attentive, kind, calm, and compassionate doctor I've ever met. He always takes hand written notes and I felt I had his full attention at each appointment. His staff were people I nearly considered friends at the end of my pregnancy. I recommend him and his team to anyone.

Love him, wish he was my primary Doctor. I have never had a Doctor take the time and patience to listen and care like he does.

I worked for Dr Milligan for over 4 years, and during that time I never once saw anything but the best from him. He is the most kind, professional and knowledgeable doctor I have ever known. He gives 110% of himself and is most humble. Rest assured, you are in the best hands while in his care.

Great doctor but you will wait an average of 1-2 hours. Waited in the waiting room twice before seeing him for an hour and a half. This happens to everyone so unless you have to wait I recommend going somewhere else!

He delivered my first child back when he was working in California almost 10 years ago. Here I am writing a review 10 years later...I never forgot how wonderful he was. I wish he was still here in California! Excellent bedside manner, very thorough, overall excellent doctor.

He is AMAZING! Very calm. He always spends time with me at every visit and his nurse is wonderful!!! I am so glad that I had him as my doctor.
