Dr. Robert Cywes, MD

THIS IS THE WORST DOCTOR I HAVE EVER BEEN TO. He talks only about him..him .him. I have never met such a self obsessed person in my life. He treated me like a kid being talked down about my weight. Told me to leave his office and go next door to someone else and get Liposuction. He is in the wrong business. He has no compassion for anyone. I pray he doesn’t treat others this way but his other bad reviews are horrible.

HORRIBLE DOCTOR...don’t go in for an appointment. He treats patients terrible.

This doctor helps you define why you became overweight in the first place and helps you develop a plan to not only lose weight but to change your life. I will never go back to being overweight BECAUSE of the knowledge he has given me. He treats the whole patient including the mental aspect. His answer is not surgery even though he's a surgeon. This is a doctor who will change your life too!

He found a tumor during my surgery on my liver, and removed it. Thanks to God, not cancer! I've lost 60 lbs, and still losing. So he continues to save my life. Best decision I have ever made.

Dr. Cywes is the most amazing physician I’ve ever been to! He will be honest with you from the beginning that there is no such thing as a magic pill to solve your issues and that you have to put the hard work in. He isn’t a doctor who will just prescribe medications to fix problems. He always digs deeper to understand why something is happening and then addresses the root of the problem rather than just covering up the symptoms. We should all desire every physician to practice medicine this way and we would be a lot healthier society. He is brilliant at explaining the medical background behind of your issues in a way that makes sense to everyone. Please do yourself a favor and go see him if you have any need for pediatric surgery, general surgery or weight loss/metabolic disease management. Between myself and my child, I have seen him for all three.

It’s been a tremendous experience to have gone through this journey with my Doctor and colleague Dr. Robert Cywes. I am a very active surgeon and have been struggling with weight for many years. I have known Dr. Cywes for approximately five years and have seen his work and results with his and our patients up close. He is compassionate and non-judgmental with his patients. His approach to weight loss is more like a life coach. He is passionate about how surgery is just part of the solution and that a multidisciplinary approach is needed. He does not have a cookie cutter approach for this complex problem. After multiple discussions and dealing with the individuals unique situation he will provide them with different options. He has been involved in the care of some of my family members, friends, patients and has selected with the involvement of the patient the proper procedure for each individual. Personally, my options were a spinal fusion or a weight loss procedure. We had our… discussions and got the gastric sleeve procedure done and have done extremely well since. It is ongoing process and life changing decisions must be made. But having Dr. Cywes on my corner and calling me out when I need it is comforting to say the least.

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Cywes. He has a great bedside manner, is very helpful and friendly, and took amazing care of me. I would recommend him to anyone looking for help with health, weight and diet.

I knew I had an issue with food and have tried so many different diets but, for the first time, Dr. Cywes gave me hope. Not only was he super understanding and non-judgemental but he explained the whole issue with carbs and how they work as a food and as an addiction. Now that I sort of get what's going on I feel stronger and more able to change my habits. He's continued to listen, support and help me along my journey and I know he does the same for all his patients. I was so lucky to find him. Do yourself a favor and get in touch with him!

Dr. Cywes & his staff are incredibly warm & friendly. They are very accommodating as well.! The office is pristine and you are very aware you are in good hands. I would Highly recommend this office to any friends and/or family. Dr. Cywes will not tell you what you want to hear, but he will certainly tell you the truth & this is quite refreshing. Thanks for the amazing service!

I cannot say enough about Dr Cywes! Amazing attitude and bedside manner! Really takes his time with you to talk about food and procedures. Answers any and all question! Always available! His staff are awesome as,well! So nice and inviting! He saved my life!
