Dr. Robert S Delagente, DO

My family always visited Dr R Delagente. Always accommodating give medication. He has given out to freely and because he lacked in correctly caring for his patient my family member was part of his abuse and ended up an addict and lost his life. Many young men and women have died. He identifies himself as the “candy man of pain medication” A doctor taking the lives of so many should be stripped of his credentials and be in jail.

Dr. DeLagente is absolutely not the person they are making him out to be. One of the most caring and professional Doctors my family has ever had a relationship with. Other Colleagues, Medical Staff and Hospitals would concur with this description.

This doctor is corrupt and should be investigated by the police!! DO NOT GO TO HIM. He does not have his patients best interest at heart. He just wants to make a quick buck!

He has been my physician for many years and I love him. He is kind, attentive, and very caring.

I saw Dr. Dela Gente the other day for a physical. As always, still very happy , cheerful and positive. I asked him about all the stuff in the paper and if he was ok. He told me NJFM/hiself was here to stay and will take good care of their patients as they always have for many years. He also said unfortunately practice was scammed/tricked by a pharmaceutical rep who apparently conspired with other former employees of the practice. Now that they were caight and turned into the attorney general, they are trying to cover their tracks and flipped this (fabricated lawsuit, defamation/slander in the papers, etc..) so the practice & him looks like the guilty one. In due time, the truth will come out. He apologizes to anyone this debackle has affected. Please don't make judgements by just what you read ! There are two sides to every story. Go talk to him as he feels patients need to know the REAL truth! We all love you, Dr. DG! Thank you always for taking good care of me & my… family!

Every time I see him, I get a cortisone shot, even though you're not supposed to get them but once every 3 months. I always leave with at least 3 Rxs whether I need them or not, or if I still have the same meds recently prescribed. He is always late even if no one is in the lobby. He doesn't listen, doesn't care, just wants to give test after test after test. Then when the bill comes, he says, "Don't worry about it, you won't be billed." Now I find he's being sued by his former partner! Not surprised as his partner was so much better than him. I can't even recommend him. Stay away, far away.

He is knowledgeable and friendly. The perfect General Practitioner.

I was a Pt who fell victim to his falsified insurance billing, ie allergy testing which I questioned from the beginning. When I received my EOB from BCBS which the total cost was 1,000 they paid 400. My next visit with Dr D I stated I would not be paying the balance his response was don’t even worry about it ww are not balance billing anyone.

Thank you, Dr D for always taking good care of me & my family always! You are the best primary care doc around! So blessed you are my doctor!
