Dr. Robert Donnell, MD

Robert Donnell, MD, is chief medical informatics officer, an assistant dean for clinical informatics with the College of Medicine and a professor in the UF Department of Urology. He received his medical degree from the University of Wisconsin in Madison, Wisconsin. He completed his surgery and urology residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin Affiliated Hospitals in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Followed by a combined program fellowship with the American Foundation for Urological Disease at the Medical College of Wisconsin, Riverside Research Institute in New York and the University of California Irvine in Irvine, California.Dr. Donnell is currently a member of the American College of Surgeons, North Central Section of American Urological Association, Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society and American Medical Informatics Association. His clinical interest include male voiding dysfunction, benign prostate hyperplasia (BPH), minimally invasive procedures for BPH, elevated PSA, cryosurgery for prostate cancer, HIFU for prostate cancer, focal therapy and kidney stones.
