Dr. Robert Orland Ford, MD

My optometrist in Anacortes sent me to Dr. Ford in Bellingham for my cataract surgery. Dr. Ford is in very high demand and performs quite a few surgeries each day, but he greeted me with a laser-like focus and I felt confident that while he was talking to me then operating on my eye that I was his only concern. He did a fabulous job, by the way, and by the afternoon of the day after there was no discomfort, no itchiness even; all fogginess was gone and I was seeing and reading clearly. The waiting room is comfortable with subdued lighting and soft music. I came in contact with about 12 staff members during the whole process and each one, from the two nice people at the front desk to the technician who told me what to expect before I left also had that calm, focused and friendly manner. So it is a very high-touch, professional experience that strives for and achieves the highest possible level of patient confidence and comfort. Just awesome.
