Dr. Robert Franklin Hollis III, MD

I have had 3 microdiscectomies and after the last herniation was referred to Dr Hollis. He is thorough, frank, and takes the time to explain everything to you. He does not jump into surgery because he wants to know everything going in. I’ve had surgeries in Columbus and he is above all of them. I highly recommend him!

I have had Dr. Hollis since 2013 and he has always told me straight forward if he could help my back pain, but never promised it would completely stop and he was 100 % honest with all his comments and always treated me with respect and answered ALL questions I had, in a professional manner.

We first met Dr. Hollis in the emergency room. We were very impressed. Dr. Hollis explained, in a respectful manner, what was wrong and what he was going to do to help. He literally saved my husband from what could have been a catastrophic ending. No exaggeration. When he came in to check on my husband in the hospital, we told him how grateful we were for everything he did. He said he didn't do anything. A very humble doctor. If he won't pat himself on the back, we will. Truly grateful.

He is direct, matter of fact, great sense of humor. Will answer any questions we have.

I was given incorrect information from his office on 3 separate occasions. Believe me do NOT go to this doctor. He might blame his nurses, but ultimately they are getting information from him. I can understand mistakes once, but not 3+ times. Especially when we are talking about major topics. Completely disappointed and wouldn't go there if service was free.

I feel when going to a specialist, there will always be a wait. We saw Dr. Hollis' on an emergent basis in the hospital and was very happy with his attention and diagnosis. Time spent in follow up at his office was excellent and he was very determined to get my husband taken care of.

I came back from Mayo Clinic with news of a brain tumor. I was told I should see Dr. Hollis for a second opinion. I had heard he was the best, and YES he is. Mayo told me I would be left with brain damage, and after Dr. Hollis worked his magic, no brain damage. I am perfect. I recently heard he left the area ~ what a LOSS to Kalispell. If I am ever in need again, Dr. Hollis is the only one who will ever operate on me. I will go where ever he is no matter how far.....
