Dr. Robert S Baker, MD

He is one of the most unprofessional doctors I have ever met. Every appointment we have waited no less than an hour. The receptionist never answers the phone and was impossible to get a hold of to refill prescription. Save your money and time and go see someone else!!

I’ve been seeing doctor baker for about two years now and it is UNBELIEVABLE that the state of Illinois would allow a mental health professional to run his practice like he does! His receptionist is the rudest , inconsiderate individual around ! She has left me on hold for 10+ minutes and “ accidentally” hung out , misplaced my insurance and tried to charge me for FULL cost of of appointment , she took three months to fill out a prior authorization form leading me to pay out of pocket for my medication. I have watched her treat his patients in the same matter . The last visit I had she told a young women that the doctor could REFUSE to see her because she had an outstanding balance!! The young girl explained that she was out of her medication and desperately needed a refill and she responded “ she would let the doctor know . After expressing my concerns with her behavior and treatment of his patients the doctor responded “ she would never do this , no one complains about her “ I URGE YOU TO FIND ANOTHER DOCTOR IN YOUR AREA . DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH DR. Baker !!!

I have been a patient of Dr. Baker for around 15 years. Even though my situation was resolved years ago, I continue to see him because we have a very good friendship and actually share many ideas and values. I was initially impressed by his earnest concern to resolve my problems. He actually listens to his patients! He is always on your side in friendly personable relation. Thanks Buddy!

He gets a bad rap because hes busy and has a lot of patients..He knows his stuff and because like family. He will remember a lot which is surprising. He will keep trying with meds and i think is a personable kind dr.
