Dr. Robert Gordon Kohn, DO

This guy treated me like a Guinea pig when I was only 14 yrs old prescribing me all sorts of anti psychotics and anti depressants when I had no such disorder. I feel like he may have even stunted my growth with what he prescribed me. This guy is no good. He just wants your money

He refused to help me after I was diagnosed with profound brain damage from psychotropic medications. He appears to not believe the risks even though they are listed on the package insert warnings. Inexcusable.

I would give this place zero stars if I could. I have been back-and-forth in contact with this place for two weeks now asking for help regarding anxiety, depression, and postpartum from my new baby. Not to mention covid. I was told that they offer telehealth for patients. I requested telehealth for my initial appointment because I have a baby at home. They then proceeded to have me fill out 35 pages of paperwork send it back in and then tell me that I have to be seen in office. Even though i wasn’t happy with the result, I agreed. Then they asked for a release of information from all of my past medical doctors. And I was told that if those records weren’t received before my initial appointment that I would not be able to be seen. Then Cindy at the front desk called me and told me that I would have to take multiple tests that would be an out-of-pocket cost to me which would range between 300 and $500 after I had just sent her an email telling her that I’m trying to be conscious of my… money because of Covid and I just have had had a baby. Then she proceeds to tell me that I am unable to bring my baby to the appointment after I had initially asked for a telehealth appointment because of this. I had called begging them for help and explaining my situation to them how I don’t have a sitter for my baby. Yet over the past two weeks they keep pushing me off to the side when I was just trying to reach out for help and these so-called “healthcare professionals “won’t help me. Stay far away from this place all they want is your money.

This individual does not care about patients or who he does what to. He also does not check his paperwork or information in his reports. He bypasses legality for covering his failures. Again, he does not care who it effects.

Robert Kohn over medicated me and had ZERO sympathy or empathy, he didn't even apologize! Then instead of calling me to ask how I am doing, he'd call my wife! However he did tell me "you wouldn't make this many mistakes at your job." After he realized what he'd done. Well buddy your job is to keep me sane but you're driving me to insane. Thanks!

The entire belief system of today's psychiatric professionals was declared to be scientifically "invalid," by the head of the National Institute of Mental Health, in 2013. Google "transforming diagnosis NIMH" to verify this. Rob Kohn is a staggeringly delusional person who still believes in the DSM, despite it's known scientific "invalidity." Which qualifies Rob as a worthless human being, with whom to try to discuss one's real life problems. As he does declare people's real life concerns to be "fictional," according to his medical records. Rob's an insane person.

I was a patient of Dr. Kohn for a couple of years. He was always patient in listening to what I had to say. He also used some newer cutting edge technologies to see if we could figure out how to address some of my moods/ shortcomings. Since moving out of state, I cannot emphasize how hard it is to find a GOOD therapist/ listener. Dr. Kohn was both of those. I am currently on my third doctor since moving. Good, kind listeners are hard to find.

DRUG PUSHER. Go to him and he WILL find a "diagnosis" that justifies him doping you up with dangerous pills. Drs like him are the worst possible thing you could do for your health. He is genuinely evil.

Dr. Kohn is a nice enough physician, don't get me wrong but he doesn't seem to actually listen to the patient. Did nothing for my depression, had me track my mood for the last 6 weeks and just says, you're fine. Claimed to have sent in a script for my medication to the pharmacy 6 weeks ago they didn't receive it. Here I am more then an hour after leaving his appointment and they still haven't received the new electronic request.

Rob thinks the common symptoms of antidepressant discontinuation syndrome are "bipolar," even though his DSM clearly states that this is a blatant misdiagnosis. And all he seems to know how to do is make people "mad as a hatter" via drug induced anticholinergic toxidrome poisoning, while lying through his teeth claiming his drugs could not be the problem, and misdiagnosing this as one of his billable DSM disorders. And Rob does this to cover up medical evidence of child abuse and easily recognized iatrogenesis for doctors who were paranoid of a non-existent malpractice suit, according to all my family's medical records. Find a doctor who doesn't like to profiteer off of covering up child abuse instead. Kohn has less than zero ethics.
