Dr. Robert Langdon Hillyard, MD

I only met this doctor at the hospital. I can say that he is a capable doctor and seems to know what he is doing. However, I can also say he is very uncaring when it comes to the family of the infants he cares for. My child was in the NICU. He made an excellent quick diagnosis but did not even bother to explain to me what that diagnosis meant. Not everyone is a doctor and can understand medical jargan. Since he caters to the pediatric population he should expect his parents to have questions. He keeps telling us that he himself is a parent Further, he is very difficult to get on the phone. His staff protect him like he is the president of the US. This doctor to me seems more like an administrator. I find his answers to be more like a politician than a helper. I had to wait hours just to talk to him. Nurses had every excuse in the world as to why he could not talk tome.
