Dr. Robert Allyn Lukenda, DO

Highly recommended

We moved to NJ and did not have a family doctor when my husband developed what we thought was another kidney stone. Dr. Lukenda worked him in the day that we called in desperation. It wasn't a kidney stone (yay) and in figuring out what it was we were able to decrease the pain. Dr. Lukenda is very kind and warm and cares about his patients. He may seem young but don't take that for inexperience or lack of knowledge. He is exactly what we were looking for in a family physician. His office staff got us in quickly each time we had an appointment. It is a small but bustling office, but if you want caring staff this is where you want to go.

He took the time and listened to me. Will be back.

I have been a patient of Dr. Lukendas for about 4 years. He is very attentive, sympathetic, and provides the best treatment available. I see a specialist for thyroid issues and he will sometimes perform my bloodwork and send it to the specialist to avoid me having to make another appointment to see my specialist. His office hours are convenient and they work around my schedule. I have never waited more than 30 mins from my scheduled time. His bedside manner goes beyond doctor patient. He makes you feel as though he truly cares about you. I would highly recommend him as a primary care physician

This doctor is too new a practitioner but unfortunately does not realize it (3 years). It's his way or the highway. Unable to reach him after repeated calls and messages left. Good bedside manner but put something very detrimental on my chart, which was not true. Staff is haughty and inefficient. Will not be back.
