Dr Malovney has great bedside manner

My doctor takes excellent care of me and his earned my trust

Had no interest in listening to me. Quick to make judgments without facts. Very condescending. Would never recommend

Excellent diagnostician

Dr. Robert J. Malovany of Bergen Medical Alliance may be a good doctor, but he’s a cheap, amoral coward. He was my family doctor for nearly 14 years, until recently. I no longer see him because he made a huge mistake with one of my prescriptions. His error wound up costing me over $1,400. To his credit, he admitted that it was his mistake. But he adamantly refused to take responsibility and reimburse me. My pharmacist, who legally could not accept the prescription back, wound up refunding me for the entire amount and writing it off as a business loss. He did this, he said, because I was a long-term, loyal customer. Dr. Malovney should have done something similar, but he did not. If my pharmacist hadn’t been so kind, you better believe I would have filed a lawsuit against the doctor. His lack of remorse and irresponsibility are unacceptable.

He won't listen to what patients have to say. He has made up his own mind and even if his diagnosis is wrong, he won't change it. Bad attitude. Lack of well-being knowledge.

The doctor spent a lot of time with my wife listening to her as well as checking her history, symptoms and trying to make her feel comfortable

I've dealt with Dr. Malovany a few times (NOT BY CHOICE). I was a patient and so was my mom. His bedside manner is TERRIBLE and is EXTREMELY RUDE!!!!Why the other doctors keep him in the group is beyond me!!

I came to see this doctor because my regular doctor is out on vacation. I wasn't feeling very good because I was starting to have colds and a bad sore throat.Anyway, after a strep test that they have me pay out of the pocket this doctor did not even gave me anything to relieve my symptoms that was very obvious at that time. Considering his co-pay is $50 he cannot even suggest any remedy for my sore throat. I know it was a simple problem but how come he cannot help me feel just a little better. So just a heads up to avoid any aggravation, request a different doctor if this is the doctor that is about to see you. I really think he is doing a lousy job as a doctor.

I simply would not waste my time. He is not at all interested in patient complaints/concerns. His office is just concerned with getting your money.
