Robert D. Monsey, MD

Dr. Monsey has performed 19 hrs. of surgery on my spine. Not only has his skill and excellent bedside manner allowed me to live an active life, but I have been able to avoid a wheelchair existence or worse.

First experience was negative, was very late with no apology or explanation, did not like my questions, came off as rude arrogant rushed and uncaring. Lousy bedside manner. Deffinitly will seek 2nd opnion. Not an asset to the organization.

Dr. Monsey did not seem to see me or hear me, but followed protocol.

Dr. Monsey follows the basic protocols which I am now quite familiar. I didn't really feel like he was analyzing my case but rather going through the motions he was taught. He deferred to his assistants a lot to maximize his time and billing (at least that's how I felt)

this is my 5th surgery and my pain and back is worse now then it was 4 years ago. not reccommended for spinal surgery.
