He practiced Emergency Medicine for over 10 years before completing a residency in Anesthesiology and a fellowship in Pain Medicine at UT Southwestern in Dallas, TX. He maintain board certification with the American Board of Medical Specialties in all three specialties.
Over the past 20 years, he's practiced Emergency Medicine and Anesthesiology, but it was in Pain Medicine, where he saw the opportunity to make the biggest difference in my patients’ lives.
He treats chronic low back pain, neck pain, and joint pain, but he also has made treating knee pain the central focus of my practice. He's noticed that steroid injections and medications didn’t really address the root causes of knee pain. Yes, the pain might subside temporarily, but it frequently came back. This made him ask: “How do we achieve lasting relief?” He decided to research and create a comprehensive program with the goal of achieving better outcomes for patients with knee pain.
