Very arrogant. Does not take time to listen to his patients.

I had to have a mass removed from my left pectoral muscle. It was large and uncomfortable. I made my appointment with ease, and because of my experience with surgeons my expectations were of someone a bit cold, and my guard was up. Dr. Bloch sat with me, talked with me, went through the entire process with me, eases my nerves, and most doctors like the one I just saw days ago don't want to be bothered by any extra steps. LAZY!!!!!! Dr. Bloch called one of my doctors, when he did not have to, and spent some time talking and explaining what was going on with me with my other doctor. The reason for the call had to do with the medications I was on. Dr. Bloch never skipped a beat, never made me feel bad, and everything I needed done he did with ease. My surgery went perfect, didn't need pain meds past the second day. If you need more time with him, tell the receptionist you really need more time than the usual for talking. I trusted him with my life, and happy I did. I will be doing… it again very soon.

I had a breast biopsy 3 months ago the incision broke open a week after the surgery and kept getting bigger and deeper. I was on a wound vac for about a month and had an allergic reaction to the tape to help secure the vac. they put the vac on hold and did a wet to dry treatment for now. I have a VA coming to my house three times a week and then I go to the wound center every Tuesday. my wound is not healing even though the doctor says it is its not , its tunneling and getting worse by worse I'm mean deeper and it's very painful. I have nerve damage where I am completely numb but still in a lot of pain. this doctor has put me through two surgeries and nothing has helped. please if anyone is referred to this doctor don't go. he is very I don't want to say mean he is very cocky and rushes his work to get in and out of patients rooms when seen, he doesn't sit down with them and explain every little thing. Please do ur research on surgeons or doctors before going under anesthesia or… thinking about surgery.

Dr. Bloch seemed very nice, however he messed up my surgery. My life is now changed forever. After the fact he lied instead of owning up. I'm sure Doctors have their bad days and I was obviously one of them, however I found out through people who had bad surgeries from him that unfortunately I am one of many. Next time, ( hopefully there won't be a next time) I would choose to get second opinions from Specialists instead.
