Dr. Robert Scot Davidson, MD

Dr. Davidson is a very good surgeon. I would highly recommend him to everyone.

I saw Dr Davidson a couple days ago, and even though he was not the Doctor for my problem. He explained the nature of my condition and the type of treatment I should receive. He instructed his office to get me seen by the appropriate doctors . That is now all taken care of. He was so friendly and treated me with respect and made me feel like I was so lucky to see such a knowledgeable Doctor.

Never met Dr. Davidson until emergency surgery was needed. This man is a master of his craft and I couldn't possibly be happier with his care. I can't recommend him high enough. He is strictly business, sharp as a knife, very experienced, and other than being a New England Patriots fan, is all Ace's in my book. I would like to be the president of the Dr. Davidson fan club - he is ALL that and a bag of chips! He really is awesome!!!! I am forever indebted to him for his medical abilities.

Dr Davidson operated on my husband a couple of weeks ago. Dr Davidson was very informative when we met with him prior to surgery and called with an update as soon as procedure was finished. I would highly recommend Dr Davidson.

Dr Davidson did not communicate well regarding the severity of the case. After surgery said "I did the best could do". Was dismissed after 2nd follow up although not completely healed. When we scheduled the next follow up was told " There's nothing I can do for you". How about telling me that 2 months before instead of letting the cancer continue to grow.

Excellent surgeon. The doctor is very compassionate with his patients while at the same time being very direct and to the point. Did not lead me astray with any information.

After being admitted to Mease Countryside and discovering I was going to need surgery, I requested Dr Davidson. He was my surgeon ten years ago for an unrelated surgery and he is who my family trusts. He visited me several times in hospital before surgery and numerous times after. He communicated clearly with my husband as well as with me. He even treated my sometimes over bearing extended family with kindness and respect. He is direct and to the point with a dry but good sense of humor my husband and I enjoy. At my post op visit, I shared some urinary issues I was having. During my office visit, he not only consulted with a urologist on the spot but scheduled me ASAP for the necessary tests and got me in with the urologist the very next day. we felt very well cared for and though I hope my family doesn't need surgery any time soon, Dr Davidson will be our surgeon if we do.

I really wish I had checked further into this Dr. before having surgery, but my primary Dr. recommended him, and had said he was not as busy as others in his practice, now I know why: He, and no one from his staff, even bothered to check on me on after surgery in the hospital, or by phone after. Even the vet calls when my pets have been in for something more than routine care. I called his office twice after surgery before I got a response to then find out that results were back, but I would have wait two weeks to find out what they are, and no earlier appointment was available. Hopefully, I have no difficulties from the surgery, but will repost with an update if I do. Find another surgeon, his lack of caring about anyone than himself is most evident.

This doctor was not friendly, did not care about his patient's well being, nor did he follow the original plan that he told his patient that he was going to do. He cut her wide open, when he was supposed to only make tiny incisions. His bedside manner was horrid. The patient got a serious infection, and his response was "he didnt care, all his patients go through it." He was rude, not only to the patient, but also family members. I would NEVER recommend this man to any patient.

I highly recommend Dr. Davidson. He performed a cholocystectomy (removed gallbladder) on me and was nice enough to call me personally the night before surgery to discuss the risks involved, etc. He is skilled, knowledgable, kind, compassionate and has a great sense of humor; everything I want in a surgeon.
