I just had my first appointment with Dr. Smaltz and he and his staff were outstanding. They were punctual, caring and spent a great deal of time trying to help me. In today’s rush rush medicine, he was a real gem. I highly recommend this physician!

Dr. Smalltz always takes time to explain everything and is never in a hurry. He is a kind and compassionate doctor. Has helped me a LOT!

I presented with 3 large kidney stones. Dr Smaltz ordered an x-ray for his own review. At the follow up he basicly said he couldn't help me, I was screwed and wished me luck in dealing with my problem. No suggestion on how to proceed or assistance with making an appointment with a Dr that could handle my problem. I got the proverbial shoe print on my butt.

I had read the reviews on this doctor and was hesitent to go but I was not able to schedule in Las Cruces. The staff was very pleasant. The nurse explained things to me and was supportive. The doctor was very informative and took time to explain things and answer my questions. We are still in the process of testing, but he is looking at every angle. I appreciate this very much.
