Dr. Robert Edward Varner JR., MD

Dr. Varner and his staff were wonderful. On my first visit and surgical visit. My new OBGYN referred me to Dr. Varner to repair a bad bladder sling that another OBGYN placed in 2005 during a hysterectomy. When referred, Dr. Varner was called "the best in the Southeast" by my OBGYN. On his recommendation, I went to Dr. Varner and immediately felt at ease. He explained what had happened and what repairs would be needed. He spent the necessary time with me to make sure I understood, in layman's terms, what he would do at surgery. On the day of surgery, he again spent time with my family and then myself, to make sure that we all understood what he had done. He made me feel comfortable and confident in the pre and post surgery conversations. His staff has always been extremely helpful and friendly. I highly recommend him!!!

Great bedside manner.Made you feel like a person,not just another patient.

Dr. varner is a master surgeon. My hysterectomy was so much better than I expected. Surgical techniques make a difference. Dr. Varner is experieced. My sex life is still very good, he left one ovary by my request and five years later at 52 I am still not in menopause. My uterine prolapse issues are totally normal now, I am enjoying my life and the excellent results of his surgical experience. Thank you Dr. Varner! And no future worries about cervial or uterine cancer. The recovery was also better than I expected. Pain meds only for 1 day at home, then felt fine..just a little slow moving for a few days.

Can't get a real person when you telephone. Staff did not return call on 10 different occasion. You are routed from number to number.

It's been avery long time since I've had the type of care and concern from a doctor. I was given his name from a friend who highly recommended him. I will and have already recommended him.

I was very impressed with Dr Varner and his staff.
