I am truly grateful to be under Dr. Baines' care and would highly recommend this practice to anyone seeking thoughtful, high-quality medical care.

If I could I would have given no star for this person. Baines is the worst kind of doctor. She thinks she is in control of your body and knows more than you do. She would not refill a much needed script and blamed the problem on the Med Tech for not calling me. It took 3 weeks and several phone calls to the office and to Sentara about the problem. Two weeks ago, I sent a letter to the office stating that I no longer had confidence in this person and would like to be transfer to the established doctor in the practice or to the NP. I have heard nothing from this office. I will definitely be changing doctors and offices.

Dr. Blaine is a awesome primary care doctor she doesn’t mind having a courageous conversation concerning your health

Everyone else has a positive review for Dr. Baines. Dr Baines is wonderful, it's her staff that works on the phones that are horrible. For some reason her staff gives me the hardest time. I am a polite person who shows everyone respect. It took 7 days including the entire weekend for them to call the pharmacy for my glucose test strips. I left one message a day, but by the time I got to the end 3rd day and the pharmacy said they haven't heard from them, that is when I got angry. During that time, they called me back twice with NO MESSAGE. What is the point of calling and not leaving a message. I called back to ask why did they do that (of course I had to leave a voicemail) and did I leave any important info out in any of my messages. Right now, I have been trying to reschedule my mom's appointment since Tuesday which is 3 days ago. Still no phone call and it is now Friday. I will update next week on my next review to let you known if they called or not. They are absolutely NOT going… to try to say she is a no call no show.

i highly recommend this doctor to anyone who's searching for someone that is well suited for the title of Dr.she took her time to explain to me what i didn't understand .she read my chart before seeing me and was not in a rush at all.the staff provided a warn polite and welcoming feeling,parking is right near the door so there's no excess of walking.

Sad to say in this day and age how these Dr`s want to get you in and out as fast as possible.. a quick visit and their on the computer and out the door you go..not much here of bedside manner.

No real care or concern.

i ran across doctor Baines video while searching for a better doctor that i feel could give me better medical attention education that every patient deserves.i like the way she expresses her passion of her expertise and feel that she could have a profound effect on my health and understanding of my condition.im giving the doctor 5 stars to start just from the video alone.
