Dr. Robin Elizabeth Powers, MD

We have been going for years to this Doctor and found her to be one of the most diligent in the field. She tries very hard to find the root cause to problems. Love her, always trusted.

The problem is not so much with dr. Powers but with the whole office. When you go to the dr. you are nervous. They never smile and they make you feel like you are annoying them. And they won't do anything that other drs offices do. They just say that they don't do that. Her assistant is the worst. She was supposed to make an appt. for a mammogram and she didn't. She was supposed to make an appt for an mri and she didn't. Twice she was supposed to send an rx for pt and both times she didn.t. worst of all she sent in the wrong rx and i ended up in the hospital. The problem with dr. Powers was that when you told her about it she ignored you. I heard that from anothet patient who also left the practice. The office made mistakes and dr. Powers ignored it. It was the worst experience i have ever had.

Needs more support from specialists and follow through with them. Simplifies issues which become serious when treated superficially. Not sure this is her fault. How many patients per hour is she supposed to see?

Dr Powers took the time to review all my systems, completely assess my history, convey a sense of compassion and care, do a physical exam and write a med change. She and her office staff put me at ease, allowed me to express my concerns and addressed me in a manner rarely seen any more. The office follow up and access are excellent. I am glad to have her a my doctor.

Dr. Powers left the practice where I used to see her, unfortunately. I really trusted her, as she took time to listen, had a good sense of humor, and was sensitive to women's issues.
