I have now seen Dr. Roger Murken for two different surgical procedures over the last two years and both times he has exceeded my expectations. The first was an emergency lower leg surgery where I had broken my tibia and fibula badly. His approach made me feel safe and looked after the entire time even through the recovery. The second was on my foot & toe and he didn't push for me to do anything beyond what I was comfortable trying. He is a fantastic communicator and a very good person too. I would highly recommend him to anyone considering surgery.

Excellent Care I have been extremely happy with all the care Dr. Murken has given me. I felt he took time to listen to me and he heard and responded in a kind and reassuring way.

"I would give this doctor ZERO stars if I could. He was over 1 hour and 40 minutes late to my appointment. He spent less than 10 minutes with me overall and wasted the first 2-3 minutes telling me how incompetent and stupid office management and the front desk people were. Spent no time getting to know me as a patient or my lifestyle. Glanced at the MRI and said scare tissue will heal the injury. Said he could give no guarantee that my ankle would ever be 100% and walked out. I was given no opportunity to ask questions. He showed no care or concern for me as a patient. He would benefit from revisiting the Hippocratic oath and re-evaluating why he became a doctor in the first place. Second and third opinions with other doctors advised that without surgery I would never have a stable ankle to play tennis, rock climb, hike, etc. Murken is a horrible doctor with a horrible bedside manner and shows no care or concern for his patients. Strongly recommend any patient to avoid this doctor… and seek care elsewhere."
