Very professional. Very sincere and empathetic. Most cooperative. Dr. Kelly is very sympathetic to my condition and treats and prescrbes in a most professional and consential manner. I have been seen at this facility for over 10 years and have NEVER regretted going there. I have suffered pain for many years and No-one has taken care of me as they have. I am FIREVER GREATFUL for all they do for me. Everyone there makes you feel like you are their #1 patient. Always listen to what you have to say. ALWAYS look for what is best for you physically, mentally, and emotionally. THANKS to them my pain is under controlð???

Excellent Doctor who has a horrible lying office manager. I have four medical insurances. Usually co pays are waived. All insurances are in force. When I was going to this Doctor his office manager Christine Roman decided my Blue Cross insurance was no good. I called Cal Pers and they beg to differ. I terminated my relationship with this office because of their failure to do their jobs. I left them owing them over 600.00 for medical services which they did not have the ability to bill properly. I gave them the correct order of insurances to bill and order to bill to receive prompt payment. When I got Breast Cancer, I am positive I informed the office of the change in my health status. They did not have it in my records. They drug tested me for Drugs which were prescribed by other Doctors. I was also taking a cancer medication at the time which left me with excruciating pain. I have bags and bags of old drugs this office prescribed for me that I could not and did… not take. I was able to totally eliminated 3 drugs they were prescribing for me thru simple usage of medicated topical cannibas rub. I have a license to use it and purchase it. It will be a good day for Sacramento when Dr. Stephens closes this office. Then the patients wont have to deal with his nasty staff of employees. A bunch of people who do not listen.

I have been seen in the office since 2004. Since it was workmans comp. I figured I was there for the duration. If you want to be treated like hearded animal, go ahead and make an appointment. His office manager is the rudest, nastiest person I have met. I have seen the doctor twice in 11 years. I keep getting the newbee, and the latest Christina is a great one. She is going to rule that office with an iron fist. I am trying to get out of that office. They have been giving me medication that was prescribed by their Dr. Barton back in 04, now all of a sudden, infact I have 30 days to get someone to help me. No referral, the medication was just dropped. You can't find Dr Stephens, he won't take calls, and you can't make an appointment with him, he hides behind a wall of office staff, and they are well versed at blocking tactics. I hope I'm not jumping out of the pan into the fire, but I can't go into that office. Talk about making a condition worse. I am treated like an… addict if you call to find out any information. Just for you that know what I am suffering with, I have a caged neck, from two industrial falls. Chronic pain for over 16 years and you think they would give a darn. Nope.

I have put complete trust in Dr. Stephens - when I get to see him - twice in double that many years. But his office staff sucks so much it causes unneeded stress every time I have to schedule and appointment, have a question, etc. The Office Manager, especially is rude, condiscending, unprofessional, and incompetant. The problem is Dr. Stephens hides behind his staff, having no balance between treating his patients and running his business. He literally avoids doing anything to help patients with office issues, he does not take calls, e-mails, and only takes appointments before & right after surgery. Other than that, good luck getting to every see him again. That I could live with, but I am so fed up with his lousy staff that every month I have reconsider if I really want to stay with him or not, I am about at the end of my rope and am feeling ready to cut Dr. Stephens loose because he will not cut his horrible Office Manager loose. Too bad - he is a nice man.

Do not waste your time. Dr. Stephens does not actually treat patients. He has his PAs dispense the same drugs month after month and allows his offic ...

Staff is rude; care is impersonal and marginally adequate.

BEWARE! Avoid this doctor's office if at all possible! They are rigid and uncaring as a practice. First, the person answering the phone was rude. The professional staff was not friendly or compassionate to me as a chronic pain patient. While you might a get good procedure they have a lot to learn when it comes to dealing with me as a patient. You can do a whole lot better for pain management in the Sacramento Area.
