Keep looking. This is not a doctor you can count on when you get sick. Rushed, ignored, gaslit, and talked down to while very ill. Ended up extremely ill, for much longer than necessary, due to an incorrect diagnosis and a complete refusal to listen to the patient. Incorrect diagnosis confirmed immediately upon seeing a specialist. You might think that the good doctor would begin listening to the patient more closely after that, but there was never any improvement. See a specialist early if you doubt his opinion. Good luck.

DO NOT SEE HIM. This past visit was a joke! I have a sinus infection but this doctor refused to administer a Prescription to help. Stated I needed to deal with symptoms for 7-10 days before a prescription can be given. “He’s just following protocol” he further went on to say most prescriptions are “useless” and to simply rely on ibuprofen and DayQuil/NyQuil. He continued to say “follow the science”. He was completely insensitive and honestly sounded like he was in his car while speaking to me. I thought this would be a means to help me get through the weekend to feel better by my work week starting on Monday. Now I’m spending my weekend seeing if a minute clinic can see me or worse case wait til Monday to call my primary doctor…..a REAL doctor. Also his advice about about DayQuil/NyQuil resulted in a huge spike in my blood pressure. I ended finally getting into the doctors 48 hours later and was to told I needed antibiotics ASAP. I guess for $10 you get what you pay for I would have… received better care at my dogs vet.

We used Teladoc because it was earlybon Labor Day morning. My son had a third poison ivy outbreak, this time with a rash around his eyes. Dr. Winakor looked at the photos I had uploaded and called in a prescription for an oral steroid. No arguing, no second guessing. After a first day on the steroid, my son is feeling better and I am relieved that the process was so simple on a vacation day.

He doesnt listen. He's the reason I ended up in the ER. They were able to diagnose me with costochondritis... an incredibly painful disease that causes awful chest pains and is so bad with my asthma. My guess is that he thought I was a drug seeking teenager. He was short with me and sent me home with instructions to take ibuprofen, didnt even examine me, my blood pressure wasnt even taken. When my mom called him back and told him I was on the floor in so much pain that I couldn't talk, he lied to her and said he didnt notice anything WHEN HE EXAMINED ME. He's awful.

Takes the time to talk to you not down to you. Very compassionate Dr.

excellent doctor. no waiting time. i had both bronchitis and lyme disease together. i had been to the clinics and er with no success . dr winakor picked up on it immediately.

We just used Teladoc, and Dr Winakor called us back. Talk about the getting the 3rd degree for a simple RX of Zpak. With three grown kids, my wife have seen dozens of sinus infections. You don't need an MD to figure that out. His rudeness was only out done by his arrogance. I actually sell the Teladoc services and will request his immediate removal from the plan. Doc the chip on your shoulder must feel like a 1000 pounds. Work on that bed side manner son

Miss-diagnosed myself and my family on several occasions. Changed doctors and realized how poorly we had been served.

This doctor is very opinionated, does not listen to patients, is arrogant, disrespectful, does not show interest in treating, and gives the impression of wanting to get rid of patients. He may be knowledgeable, but I don't want to see him again.
