My first experience with Dr Sanders today. Office staff awesome. Dr is 5 star on all accounts. Totally confident in his knowledge. Moving toward surgery.

Dr Sanders squeezed me in the day before a holiday and provided exceptional care and guidance for a complicated matter.

Excellent physician. I had tendon reconstruction surgery and subsequent ankle replacement surgery with excellent results.

I broke my ankle due to a fall on 9/21/2021. I had to have surgery with hardware to stabilize it. I had surgery in NC first as that is where the fracture happened. I had another surgery on my return to Florida. I had 2 more screws placed. I had the hardware in for 1 year. I was being treated by a Podiatrist. He was set to remove the hardware as pain had been constant. I was directed by the Dr in NC to Dr. Sanders. After a through assessment Dr Sanders removed the hardware and did an ankle replacement. Dr Sanders changed my life. I was destined to have chronic pain from this injury. While pain is still a factor I know it will eventually subside as any joint replacement will. I can’t recommend him too strongly. Excellent care. Very personable easy to talk to. He listens to his patients. You can’t make a better decision by seeing Dr. Sanders. If anyone can help you he can.

My visit with Dr Sanders was the most comprehensive orthopedic evaluation I have ever had. His depth of knowledge and easy manner helped make a complicated issue very understandable. Although he fully explained my surgical options, he was also very honest in recommending a more conservative approach for me. He considered my entire medical situation, not only the surgical aspects. His entire staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend Dr Sanders and his practice.

Dr. Sanders is an excellent physician. He provided exceptional patient care and competence in preforming my Right Triple Arthrodesis. During my follow up care, he was compassionate and empathetic in recommending the type of rehabitative care that was patient appropriate. Without hesitation, I would strongly recommend Dr. Sanders to anyone needing Orthopedic Surgery. He did an outstanding job.

Dr Sanders was on time, direct. Thoughtful about next steps on ankle care. He provided first pain relief in 6 years and outlined a non surgical plan for next 5 years to manage pain and flexibility. Would recommend highly.

I will agree what another patient previously stated "An amazingly skilled surgeon who is not afraid to take on other Doctors mistakes!" A previous doctor recommended amputation of my leg. Got a second opinion from Dr. Sanders and he was able to save my leg. I am very grateful to him and I would definitely recommend him for any lower extremity surgery.

Amazing Doctor with good bedside manners

An amazingly skilled surgeon who is not afraid to take on other Doctors mistakes! No challenge is too difficult for this experienced surgeon as he thrives on repairing and restoring lives! I met Dr. Sanders after 3+ months of improper care, by another surgeon in my home town of Fort Myers which resulted in a non-union of my compound ankle fracture. Dr. Sanders reviewed my case and exuded confidence that he could restore my leg. When prepping for the first surgery, the nurses all noted that I had found the right surgeon and started touting his accolades and experience. My care required six surgeries which included a bone graft to replace over 2 inches of degraded tibia, caused by infection from 3 soil-based bacteria. Dr. Sanders even rearranged his schedule on multiple occasions, to perform 2 of the surgeries, since I was not a local patient. At one point, when we were exhausted from treatment and considering amputation, Dr. Sanders pleaded not to give up, as he refused to give up on me. 14 months after my fall, I was restriction free on my way to restored life thanks to Dr. Sanders. Dr. Sanders strives to achieve perfection from day 1, but that does not mean it will be quick. He does things the right way which requires time and patience. Dr. Sanders is an amazing doctor whom I now call a friend. Thank you so much for restoring my life!

No personality. First thing out of his mouth was that I needed surgery. He didn’t discuss my X-ray nor my MRI. Knew absolutely nothing about me. This was my very first visit. It was a TERRIBLE experience. I understand that he’s a surgeon and they like to cut. But at least find out my history by asking: When the pain started? What have I been doing to cope? What’s my pain level? SOMETHING! I’ll never return and I’ll be sure to tell all that I know of how horrible my experience was.
