Dr. Quintero saved my daughter’s life. We had a complicated pregnancy, of identical twins with a cystic hygroma found in one. The entire pregnancy was a constant waiting game, but from the day we met Dr. Quintero, we knew our family was in the best hands we could possibly be in. His knowledge and communication of that knowledge to his patients make for a great bedside manner. We were not left with unanswered questions (which, as a pregnant mother, is the worst.) We felt safe with him every step of the way, he in sincere in his compassion, trustworthy in his skill and informative as ever. We are forever grateful, and hope that other families going through similar experiences are fortunate enough to have a doctor like him.

Dr. Quintero is treating our daughter that has hydrops. So far, he and his staff have shown extreme professionalism. We are hopeful that our baby will make it because of him!

Our daughter was diagnosed with hydrops at 18 weeks, this is when we were referred to The Fetal Institute. The initial doctors we saw told us our baby would most likely not make it. When we went to The Fetal Institute to figure out next steps, we were welcomed with open arms and nothing but kindness and hope. Dr. Quintero truly is an exceptional doctor. He told us what was going on in a way that we could understand and was genuinely interested in helping us and saving our daughter. After weekly visits to see him for check ups, he performed two successful in utero shunt placement surgeries on our daughter. These surgeries saved her life. Dr. Quintero made all the right calls, listened to his intuition on what to do, and put us at ease throughout the entire 5 month journey. There is no other practice or doctor I would recommended if you are going through a situation where fetal therapy is an option. We are forever grateful for Dr. Quintero! Thank you Dr. Q!

Very rude staff and there is no transparency in the billing. Spent more than a thousand dollars in a extremely rushed visit. After that experience I had an appointment with a female doctor at UFC and had a wonderful experience there.

found out he owes a ton of money to other professionals. he appears as a well to do person but he is not. his English leaves a lot to be desired. I cannot trust my unborn to someone who is not financially responsible.

I am a mother from Pennsylvania who found out that my twins' diagnosis of twin to twin transfusion syndrome had become severe enough to warrant laser surgery. My maternal fetal medicine ob/gyn had been in constant contact with Dr. Quintero, keeping him updated on our case. When it became severe enough, we booked a flight to Florida and were in his office two days later. His staff were extremely friendly and kind. They understood that we were very scared and worried. Dr. Quintero sat with us and explained all of our options, including not having the surgery. He drew us diagrams to show us what would be happening. During the surgery everyone was helpful in explaining what was going to happen and what I was seeing on the monitor during the surgery. The next morning, we had several questions for Dr. Quintero when he came to our hospital room for a follow-up. He sat with us for over 30 minutes (as if he had no where else to be) and completely explained everything and patiently answered our questions. He was the first person who was able to tell me that both of our boys would be born alive. Every time we look at our boys (now 4 years old) we think of our time with Dr. Quintero and his staff and we are eternally grateful!

Dr Quintero is an amazing,caring doctor. My twins had ttts and he did the laser surgery to save them. His confidence made me feel very calm during the process and I felt confident that my babies had the best chance of survival in his care. I am very grateful to him and his wonderful staff.

On behalf of our daughter, we filed med mal against Dr. Quintero which concluded in 2008. My daughter had a sacrococcygeal teratoma (SCT)and Dr. Quintero did my in-utero surgery.

My husband and i came in from Ga. Our consult with him the first day was pretty long was told would be about 4 hours and it was 8+ from begining to end. IT WAS ALL WORTH IT!!! There was a lot to do. Luckily in work in the medical field so i was prepared and not too upset. He and his staff are wonderful. It was such a hard thing to deal with but he made it much better. I would highly recommend him to anyone.
