I have been living in the upstate area for over 35 years. My wife , three children (two of which are in college) and I enjoy this area and its residents. My initial interest in allergy comes from my own experience with allergies and asthma and the treatments I received growing up in various parts of the country before finally moving here in high school and eventually setting up an allergy practice 20 years ago. My philosophy in treating is to try to create a partnership with my patients where we identify the causes of their allergic disease, discuss possible treatment options and then come up with a custom plan of treatment that is both practical for the patient and likely to be effective. I believe this type of patient involvement in the determination of a treatment plan is more likely to lead to a positive outcome. When not working I enjoy being outdoors playing golf or exercising and spending time with my family.
