Dr. Rupa Patel was raised in the beautiful town of Colorado Springs. After graduating high school, she moved to Oregon to attend Pacific University. While at Pacific, she developed an interest in Optometry while working as a research assistant at the Vision Performance Institute at Pacific. After graduating in 2014 with her Bachelor's Degree in Biology, she went on to receive her Doctorate degree from New England College of Optometry in 2018. While living in Boston, she practiced in several clinics including multiple Greater Boston Health Centers and he Boston Veterans Affairs Health System gaining experience in the management of ocular diseases, pediatrics, and fitting all specialty contacts. She brings to our practice the latest technology expertise, and has an interest in ocular medical management and advanced contact lens fittings. After graduation, she moved back to Colorado to begin practicing at 20/20 EyeVenue and the greater Denver area.
Dr. Rupa as …she is known by many of our patients, ensures that all patients needs and concerns about their eyes are taken care of. She wants to make sure her parents understand their options and that they leave her office feeling confident about their vision and health. She also has a passion for private practice and small businesses to make sure patients are always put first.
In her free time, Dr. Rupa spends her time with her family and friends, working out at Traverse Fitness, trying new recipes in her kitchen, skiing the Rockies and enjoying being able to call Colorado home, again.
