Dr. Ruthann Perillo, MD

Dr Perillo gives her attention and time. Follows up with test results and referrals. I am confident that she has my well bring as a priority. Her nurse is also very knowledgeable and helpful.

I went to the office for stomach problem which I have been going for years .But was Escorted out with no explanation of Why! I am Fully vaccinated for COVID ! Was offered online visit only but there where other patients there ?have been a patient for years I was mortified will never return to this office ever again long wait and bad Patient care!!!!!!

My elderly mother was a patient of Dr. Perillo who kept her waiting for at least 45 minutes, would not return her phone calls, and then decided to stop her much needed medication which resulted in my Mom's blood pressure skyrocketed!! Dr. Perillo played God with my Mother's life and now my Mother is paying for it with high anxiety, high blood pressure and heart problems. The only decent person is Wendy, Dr. Perillo's assistant. Dr. Perillo's medical license should be reviewed under the NYS Medical Licensing Board - AMA

At first I found her to be ok. She became lax in knowledge of what tests I should have. Her staff at the front desk leaves a lot to be desired. The left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing, so to speak. I call numerous times for test results and I NEVER get a phone call back!

Dr. Perillo is incredibly unprofessional. She lacks the communication skills necessary to establish a good practitioner-patient relationship, and she is quite judgmental. Her skills are questionable as well, as she often falsely documents patient information without actually examining the patient. Avoid at all costs!

A GREAT DOCTOR OPERATING IN A TERRIBLE FACILITY.

I praise Dr. Perillo. She's caring, thorough, spends as much time with me as needed. I NEVER feel rushed. She talks to me as a person not just another patient. She's smart, knows her patient. I can't say enough wonderful things about my doctor. May she continue to practice as I would be hard pressed to find another doctor that is so caring!

After moving back to Long Island, I searched high and low for a physician that would LISTEN to me,and NOT just write A prescription for an anti-depressant, send me home still suffering. AND since I know when something is wrong with my own body, i came across Dr.Perillo, who I actually went to High School with. She is extremely thourough in her examinations, has wonderful bedside manner, and most importantly SHE LISTENS, and is a great dianostician. I would highly recommend her to all my family and friends, and now that I have relocated from Huntingon, to Port jefferson, I will make the 25 mile trip to keep her as my primary care Physician. Not only is she atop notch Physician, the facility she is located in, has every kind of doctor you could possibly need,testing euipment, including Quest diagnostics for blood tests, a radiology dept, for xrays,etc... a pharmacy on site, as well as an eye doctor with a beautiful selection of frames...so, you can have all your medical needs taken care… of, from cadiology and testing to having your prescriptions filled rapidly...all without leaving the building. And again, I am very pleased with my choice of Dr.Perillo. She is a no-nonsense Dr. that explains your condition in a way that you are not left walking out saying to yourself"what the heck did she mean by...."AND her office staff is helpful, courteous, and very knowledgable. deffinetly a 4 PLUS STAR PHYSICIAN.

Dr. Perillo was gracious, helpful and spent a lot of time listening (which I find rare these days). The office is a bit dated and run down but she was worth getting passed it. Another plus was her staff, they smiled!! and were very pleasant.
