Dr. Ryan Paul Crenshaw, MD

Dr Crenshaw is an excellent physician, however his business practices are truly horrendous and that is why I would never recommend his services to anyone. Let me explain. I recently made an appointment to see him to schedule my colonoscopy. The following day I was notified by his billing department that he does not accept UnitedHealthCare with Medicare. Obviously I was not aware of this for I would never have scheduled the appointment. However, it clearly shows on my insurance card that I have Medicare. His office staff even acknowledged it was her fault for not seeing that. I was fully willing to pay my copay, afterall, I should have known he did not accept my insurance. However, where are the repercussions of his office staff failing to notice what my insurance card clearly stated? She discussed my situation with Dr Crenshaw and he insisted on me paying the full amount. So instead of paying a copay, I’m now on the hook for an office visit that does me no good. Seems to me that if… Dr Crenshaw is that desperate for money that perhaps he should merge with a larger practice. All I know is that I will never recommend his services to anyone and will gladly explain my reasons why. I hope the money he made from me was worth it.

I wholeheartedly want to recognize Dr. Crenshaw as well as his entire staff for not only their professionalism but for their patience, concern, and caring. Dr. Crenshaw performed a medical procedure on me. I could not have been in better hands. Also, his entire staff were understanding, patient, and caring each time I called with a question prior to the procedure.
