Dr. Sachin Surendra Mody, MD

I've been seeing Dr. Mody now for almost 4 years, and I never had a bad experience. For a long time, I was so disappointed in the other physicians I saw...some were rude, or not conversational, or just made me feel uncomfortable. Dr Mody has a wonderful "bedside manner" and I always feel that he cares. I highly recommend him to anyone!

My husband saw Dr Mody regarding an infected hair follicle which he expressed. Following day it had to be expressed again and resulted in a MRSA infection. I believe this to be related by the application of gloves and then touching literally anything in reach. There was one call, from a nurse looking to assure they'd handled this properly. No call from Dr about how he was doing, certainly no visit. Second incident was my husbands hand developing a swollen hot hand with a small head. This time he sent us away with an oral antibiotic which proved useless and we wound up at the ER where he nearly lost his hand after two surgeries. The ER ortho on call took one look at it and I quote "this is not rocket science, its got to be opened" Again, no call no visit from this alleged Dr. When hubby had a similar issue with his foot, we didn't even bother and went straight to the ER where they listened to us and drained and treated it. Since leaving Dr Mody there have been no more incidents. Hm,… wonder if there's a correlation.... Good Luck

Wouldn't recommend him, doesn't exolain why we are sick. He sucks.

Dr Mody is a personable doctor, that is without question the most important point.However, having to speak to an answering service, who then calls the office who may or may not call back in a timely manner is simply inefficient and off putting. Having a G.P. who does not concern himself with attending to you while you are hospitalized is also upsetting as being handed off to an unknown doctor selected by the hospital as opposed to your own personally seleted doctor is to me, unacceptable.Being told face to face that something can and will occur within a specified time frame only to find that was misleading or an outright lie is also bothersome.But, like I said, Dr Mody is a good doctor.

Dr. Mody is absolutely fantastic! He's been my family of four's Doctor for several years now. He's always avaialable when needed and knows his stuff. I actually look forward to doctor visits now.

He used to be at the listed address but moved. I'm glad he did because while I enjoyed seeing him the office staff at his old location was unprofessional
