Dr. Sadia Nafees Ahmed, MD

Dr. Ahmed was rude, condescending and came to incorrect conclusions about both my personal and medical histories, although her PA, who I had seen initially, had been professional and thorough. Dr. Ahmed made me feel so threatened that I cut the first appointment with her short, thanked her for her time, and left the office in tears. I was extremely disappointed, because I had waited a long time to see her and was hopeful that she could help me. She sent me a form letter the next day telling me that she would no longer be my doctor! This is the absolute strangest physician encounter I have ever experienced.

Saw Dr. Ahmed January 2023 -- had a second visit scheduled (a tele visit) few months later of which I had to cancel -- I had a very good reason for the cancellation & gave several days notice. I received a letter from her shortly after telling me not to bother to reschedule in the future -- to find another doctor. The letter was condescending. All because I cancelled an appointment. Unreal. Who would want to go back to see her.

I have been a patient of Dr. Ahmed for 5 years. Because of her quick ability to diagnose my symptoms my granulomatosis is under control. I find her kind, compassionate and extremely knowledgeable. She understands how the body responds to medication first prescribing meds to relieve my symptoms, then ordering meds to calm my immune system. She lowered doses slowly and precisely until I could be off them completely. I am now on 1 med to keep my immune system under control. Dr. Ahmed explains everything in detail, which I appreciate. She has always taken her time though I know there are patients waiting to be seen. Her waiting room is often overflowing. The wait is worth it as I know Dr. Ahmed needs to spend more time with another patient or address another issue. As a RN who has worked directly with doctors for over 40 years, I recommend Dr. Sadia Ahmed without hesitation.

Dr. Sadia Ahmed is an outstanding Rheumatologist and very compassionate. I have been a patient of hers for many years. She is extremely knowledgeable. If it wasn't for her thorough evaluations and extensive experience with difficult cases I would have had to stop working and go on disability. She responded to calls when I was in medical crisis on weekends and evenings and provided treatment to resolve the situation using her extensive experience. She has also provided Telehealth services when I needed it. I would highly recommend her services.

She doesn't listen to her patients. She talks over top of them and Her billing department needs to go back to school .

I highly recommend Dr. Sadia Ahmed if you are looking for a Rheumatologist.

all she does is try different prescriptions to see if they will work. They also hassled me for over a year about a $10 bill that was their fault

Dr.Amhmed was one of the rudest doctors I had ever seen.Talked right over you.Would barely allow you to speak and talk about your medical problems.Jumping to incorrect conclusions on my medical history.You want a doctor that will listen to what you have to say and to be compassionate...I felt totally rushed,she was talking at warp speed,talking very loud,& standing way to close when she was speaking.Jumping to conclusions about extreme pain I have been in...

I found this doctor extremely rude. Her PA is fantastic but the doctor is the rudest, with poor bedside manor. She is the rudest doctor I have ever been to. Does not answer your questions.
