Before I comment on the professionalism and cooperation of the entire team, let me talk about the "Humane" element of Dr. Sadir (Heading the Oncology Care Center at Al Zahra Hospital Dubai). I have not met a Doctor who is more interested in finding you a way out to accommodate you both practically and financially rather than just treating you. I mean who would bother whether your insurance covers a treatment and if not, what could be the alternate arrangement? Who would line you up at a different hospital but still be there to ensure complete care and then accommodate all follow ups free of charge? His entire oncology team is a true example of these noble gestures. They are totally different people who least care about money but you and your comfort. Cooperation, care, guidance, support are just a few limited words to describe this incredible team. Coming on to the treatment, my mother has received absolute professional care so far, she is successfully surviving Breast Cancer thanks to Dr. Sadir and his team. I would like to commend Alyssa (cordinator and the lady who runs the show), Assistant Doctor ( I am forgetting his name though, a lively person and explained me thoroughly about the procedures), Dr. Ahmed, Male nurse ( I forgot his name though, again a very caring and fine gentleman. He was so helpful that he did let my mom hold the drain bottle attached to her body while she walked to the doctor's room) and Dr. Huma(made my mom very comfortable during her post surgery followup, she just made her feel as if nothing has happened). If you ever find yourself in a need of surgery, do not hesitate to see Dr Sadir Alrawi and his team. He is truly a remarkable doctor and professional that me and my husband respect and trust. From the first visit his kind, calm, understanding and reasuring approach put me at ease and helped to go through the whole process of thyroidectomy. The team: admin Alyssa, nurse Emanuel and assisting doctors are very dedicated, passionate, always willing to help, answer questions and cater to your needs. I needed to postpone the surgery 2 times and the admins were very supportive. I may also add that my procedure was not covered under insurance and that was taken into consideration by the financial department. To the whole team with Dr. Sadir at the lead: Thanks for your good care and concern, you make a difference!

My recommendation is for the deep knowledge, long experience and sincere humanitarian attitude of Dr Sadir Al-Rawi. He and his directly managed team-members demonstrated distinguishable levels of professionalism, intensive care and generosity. I believe the emotional intelligence and correct team leadership can achieve such levels of high performance and fruitful efforts. While in the contradiction, staying in the Al-Zahra hospital is a very bad experience from its start to its end. Admission was a title of a money harvesting and disdain journey, room service furnishing and appliances were frustrating, the nursing response was a big shock that is really weird, and finally, during discharge, we found a message from Dubai police warning us to move our car from the drop-off area where my husband got permission for parking to get me to his car. The general impression about the hospital itself is it is a money-oriented place. I witnessed some sad stories happened to other patients in front of me during my journey. As a conclusion, I recommend this centre just for the sake of the presence of Dr Sadir Al-Rawi and few other colleagues of him like the wonderful Dr Dima. Away from these real human doctors, a big NO to the centre.
