Dr. Said A Samra, MD

Dr. Samra made me feel very uncomfortable and after my consult I never would use him for a procedure or recommend him.

Dr. Samra and his staff are amazing and my results after my recent cosmetic procedure are exactly what i was hoping for.

I went for a breast reduction with Dr Said Samra. I am not questioning his surgical skills. I am writing to warn a woman who goes for a breast reduction to make explicitly clear in no un-certain terms what you want and to get it in writing. My mistake was not getting our conversations in writing. I went for 2 appointments with Dr Samra prior to my surgery and told him what I wanted and did not want. My husband went with me on both visits. I wanted to get to a certain size and be reduced by a certain number of cup sizes. He kept saying he could not guarantee cup sizes since all bra manufacturers are different. Dr Samra was more concerned that my husband would be upset with him if he made my breast too small. My husband told him on several occasions that whatever I wanted was what I should get and if he was to make an error on size to error on making them smaller than leaving them too large. He kept telling me that he was going to make me look like a Victoria Secret's runway model. I… told him that was not what I was looking for because reduction in size and weight was important to make my shoulders and back feel better. In the end, I did not get much reduction – only 1 cup size. When I told him I was upset, he said “That’s too bad”. He said he asked the 4 people in the operation room and they told him if he made me smaller I would be upset. The issue is I never met or discussed what I wanted with the 4 people he had in the operating room, only him. Dr Said Samra seems to only care to do what he likes rather than what his patients wishes are. I would recommend if you go to this group to ask for another doctor and make sure you see that person's work. It was my mistake I was not more diligent. I relied on recommendations from other doctors that he was one of the best and I believed he would have done what I wanted since I was the customer. There were no issues with the quality and I didn’t have any medical issues from the surgery, but I paid for an end result, had a surgery, suffered through the surgical pain and recovery, and did not get what I paid for or wanted. Now I am stuck having what he thought I should have instead of what I wanted and I don’t have recourse.

I went in and was nervous about getting a Lipoma from my head .Dr. Samra put me at ease and has a great bedside manor as well. You cant even tell where I had the surgery

Dr said and his staff are the kindest, most caring group of people I have met. I have been going to him for two years to have my moles checked and removed. His eye for catching potential bad growths are amazing. He doesn't unnecessarily remove anything. I trust him so much by two daughters also go to him. Actually dr. Samra doesn't participate in my older daughters insurance so I pay him myself that is how much I trust him. And how good he is. He truly cares about his patients and how they feel. He never rushes you or makes you feel like he is better than you. His staff is also great. The girls are very friendly and kind and no matter how many times you call or ask a question they are never annoyed. Everyone should have their moles checked by this doctor.

He should be called the butcher...DO NOT go to him for any plastic surgery.

A truly amazing man and physician. His kindness is only exceeded by his superior skills and talent as a surgeon. Simply the best and I was blessed to have found him!

Wonderful physician. Extremely knowledgeable and a caring bedside manner. And his staff went above & beyond (especially Nadine) to help make all go smoothly. I am blessed to have found them and would Highly recommend Dr. Said Samra & the Same a Group!

Dr. Samra is great...patient, gentle, good bedside manner...spends as much time as necessary with patients. However, while staff is courteous when you are there for a visit, it's almost impossible to get one of them to return a phone call/email. Had difficulty scheduling surgery even though office staff had insurance company approvals well in advance. Repeated calls/emails went unanswered. Was repeatedly told they "were very busy." Unacceptable customer service!
