Dr. Saleem Ahmad Tahir, MD

Dr.saleem Tahir is friendly and he did a lot to help me with seizures plus check my weak immune system. He also checked my medicine levels. People at u of m don't think it is important to check medicine levels, Dr. Saleem Tahir also understood that one of my medicines that has phenobarbital in has to be checked,if not I would have anxiety it is not good to have anxiety.

Excellent electroencephalographer. A great human being. Perfect in EMG and NCV.

Mean man

First visit seemed good. Gave me a diagnosis of Parkinson's disease and a prescription which cost $50 a month with insurance. A month later, I saw him again. Pills worked slightly. He was not nearly as accommodating, and seemed to brush me off. I went to see a Parkinson's specialist, who said I do NOT have PD, and even if I did, he would never start me with the medicine Tahir gave me. I should have known, when Tahir said he'd had PD for 20 years, and only had a mild tremor. In 14 years, my father was bedridden from PD.

I would not recommend Dr. Tahir to my worst enemy! He does not listen to his patient. I was diagnosed with a neurological condition a year ago and went to him for post surgical pain management. He told me that I wasn't experiencing pain and that I was just worried about having went thru surgery. He also gave me a neurological exam and told me that I was fine. The thing is, before my diagnosis I would have been able to pass that exam! I will never go back to him again.

I went to Dr. Saleem A Tahir several times this year 2018 and found him to be kind, caring and listened to my problems. He wrote everything I told him which made me feel I found someone who could finally help. Help me he did and I can't thank him enough, great doctor.

I have Parkinsons and he was able to diagnose me after being sent to him by another physician. We think very highly of Dr. Tahir. Treating Parkinsons is very difficult but DrTahir treats each patients symptoms and concerns.
