I wouldn`t recommend her to anyone. She never seemed to care about me . She had no empathy for me. She only spent 1 minute with me when I had appointment with her. I am very disappointed.

I have and will continue to recommend Dr. Akram. She is an excellent physician! She is very caring and will go the extra mile to help a patient!!

I do not recommend anyone see Dr. Akram. Firstly, she only practices one day a week. If you are always having problems like I currently am, it can take over a week to get in to see her when you are really sick, then if she wants to do a procedure wait another week, then wait another week for a follow-up.It takes a long time to actually see her after your appointment time, often over an hour. She never appeared to care about me, only acting as if you wanted to solve a puzzle. She had no sympathy or empathy for me. Appointments always felt rushed, with me often not even getting to say everything I needed to before she left, and she never tried to solve the underlying problem, just solve the effects of my problem, not the actual problem.As for her accuracy in accurate diagnoses, she told me I had one thing. Another doctor I saw told me the exact opposite, and it was from a biopsy report, so it was a simple yes or no on the biopsy report, so she straight up lied to me.Terrible doctor, I… advise everyone to go elsewhere. Her medical assistant is very nice and helpful, though. That's the only good thing going for her.
