Dr. Samuel Finkel Goldenberg, MD

Dr. Goldenberg retired at the end of 2021. The review that he is pompous or slow to treat Prostate Cancer is absolutely not this physician. He is aggressive with follow up screening and follow up post treatment. When I read the prior review I knew they had the wrong physician or they had no idea what they were talking about. Dr. Goldenberg was a physician that took time with his patients and did complete examinations. He even discovered issues outside his field. We are sad that he retired but understand after so many years of hard work.

I am a physician. Dr Goldenberg has too casual approach to prostrate cancer. If I followed his advice I would have been metastatic. He acts I a pompous manner and thinks he knows more than he does. In my opinion he is not up to date.

Dr. Samuel Goldenberg is a knowledgeable physician who is also proactive, caring, attentive and trustworthy. He has been a shining star since I started to see him many years ago.

Dr Goldenberg has taken care of my 95 year old Mom for the last 5 years or so.. Mom had frequent UTI infections Dr Goldenberg did a culture and discovered she was being treated with the wrong meds. She now does a preventative maintenance of once a day, and mom is doing fabulous !!!

We see Dr. Goldenberg every few months to manage my elderly mother's potential for recurring UTIs. She had one a couple years back that sent her to the ICU because she had suddenly gone septic without presenting any usual symptoms . Upon her recovery and discharge from the ICU, we started seeing Dr. Goldenberg to manage her case. He impressed me from the start because he is one of those rare doctors that truly takes time to listen to the patient and caretakers, and often walks into an appt giving a verbal summary of where we left off on our last visit (I find that I typically I have to remind the Drs of this, so it was a welcome change). My mother also has a number of antibiotic allergies to deal with, but he found the right solution for us. We highly recommend this doctor.
