Dr. Sandy D. Kotiah, MD

I had completed iron issues and Dr. Kotiah took time to explain my blood reading, what each meant, high and low points, and potential causes for the iron loss. She explained everything in layman's terms and I was 100% aware of what was happening rogin my blood system. I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Kotiah to anyone with hematologic issues.

Dr. Kotiah is a compassionate physician who is dedicated to the care of her patients. Medicine is not just her profession - it’s her vocation.

Dr Kotiah explains things in great detail and is very thorough. She tells me things straight. She’s been my doctor for 8 years and she has always looked out for me. She researched trials for me and contacted other doctors to get me the best possible care . She calls back or emails right away.

At first I was impressed with Dr. Kotiah's knowledge and her ability to convey it clearly. This made me feel quite comfortable. But when she discovered that I wanted to employ other methods for recovery, she immediately became arrogant and intolerable to anything that was outside of her familiarity. I felt like instead of her considering my methods, or at least respecting them, she basically told me that she wasn't willing to continue as my doctor because I chose not another alternative. It turns out, I don't want a doctor who refuses to listen to me as an individual - rather than a statistic in a general category. I need a professional is NOT TOO ARROGANT to research and explore other options, and to respect the wishes of his/her patient WITH TOLERANCE. I made the right choice in getting another oncologist.

Dr Kotiah is an incredible physician who demonstrates compassion, extraordinary knowledge, and a love for her patients. Dr Kotiah understands the fear that is associated with any illness, especially a cancer diagnosis. Dr Kotiah guides you through not only as a patient, but as a dear friend. She is truly amazing!

I dont know why my comments is not coming out all the way and also posting more then once so I decided to correct my post from where it was cut off so here is the ending....* I am 25yrs old now in at the time I was 22-23 and I been threw so much with my health and she has helped me threw so I wouldn't change her for nothing and nobody regardless of what. If you or anybody you kno is in need of a good doctor that will not only be their doctor but also their mentor,motivator,& their bestfriend then you need not to look no further because you found all of the above in Dr. Kotiah
